Almost a classic! by HotRod-302 Almost a classic! by HotRod-302
This not so little ride will be mine before too long. Probably in the next couple weeks. I know it looks like an old man car BUUUUUUT while it IS an old man car this one is kinda unique.
This is a 1993 Pontiac Grand Prix SSEI with, as far as I can tell, ALL the bells ad whistles. It has a heads up display that projects the speedo on the windshield, built into the trunk is a little air compressor so if you get a flat you can air it up, it has the tool kit that shipped with the car from the factory, heated leather seats, and so on. What I am most interested in, though, is the supercharged V6. This would be my first supercharged vehicle.
It has about 130,000 miles, seems to be pretty solid (WE'll see once I get UNDER it) and it seems to need a fuel pump. I did get to drive it once a long time ago so I do know it runs pretty well. Aside from wear in the seats which one would expect it has been well maintained.

Looks like a great car. I was really bummed when Pontiac went under, for all the jokes about them they made some sweet looking rides, and this one is no exception. For a 90s sedan this is damn styling! Hope it's still in good shape mechanically!

It runs and drives real nice, but I only put about 10 miles on it and the fresh oil I put in is already looking a big dark. Hope the rings aren't bad.

YES!!!  Totally GO baby!!  We had for awhile a Buick Park Avenue with the supercharged 3.8L V6, and that thing was a four-door STREET ROCKET!  First time we'd ever had a FWD that felt like a musclecar!!  A LUXO musclecar at that!  I mean, at one point, when the original supercharger started to go, and I had a lot more money to throw around than I do now, I personally paid for a rebuilt supercharger to put it back into action.  It was an awesome car, and was sad that we had to get rid of it due to to transmission issues cropping up that we didn't have the means to fix, or the finances.

It is snappy. I may consider a few minor performance mods. Ignition, JET computer chip, things like that. Leave it looking stock.
