Description

A gift pic from many moons ago, CarlitoX (Whateverhappenedtothisguy?)
Gravedigger popped back in my mind not long ago when :iconzerrinth: was showing me some artwork this lady does using animal bones and small mechanical bits from watches to create this morbid yet beautiful sort of steampunkish sculptures.

Gravedigger is one of my favorite types of things where it's a cross between technology and supernatural power. He is essentially a willing test subject to create a modern warrior that can't be killed. He's sort of a failure in that he is a walking rotting corpse that no matter how long he stays in the open remains quite juicy he is successful in that he can dig for spare parts in the graveyard. He is basically a soul that can possess bodies, so he's the perfect disposable villain. Destroy the body but if you need him later there's a cheap and cheesy way to bring him back. He's smart, so he can upgrade using raw materials and he has this wonderful assortment of vermin living inside his body that are great at laying maggot eggs under your skin and growing at disturbing rates releasing toxins that numb the area and eventually paralyze the victim so if they don't get each and every bite tended to properly there will be a fresh supply of spare parts.

Okay now that is wicked freaky for a villain. I normally have a hard time justifying why they don't off certain villains off for good other than because it be waste out of universe. So I love how you gave Gravedigger this type of immortality that blends so much horror in one mish mash for an antagonist.

So Happy Halloween! XD Keep up with your works they deserve to be shared up here.
