Hey HeiHei

Normally I wouldn't get a pet store bird because often they don't live as long because of bad breeding and you never know what kind of illnesses they may have. But when I saw this little guy sitting all alone in a pet store when all the other birds had a buddy I couldn't walk out without him. He was just sitting there all by himself with a millet twig. He was also a lot smaller than any of the other birds (He is just a baby, too, so he was probably the youngest.) So I took the chance and decided to take him home. As many budgies as I have owned in the past I can say I'm probably far better at caring for him than most people who would take him home. So here he is. I can't introduce him to Stewie yet until I can watch him closely, make sure he's not sick, and introduce him to Stewie slowly so I know he wont be picked on. 
So you might be wondering why I named him HeiHei... you'll have to have seen Moana to get it... but HeiHei is the pet chicken from the movie Moana. Driving home with HeiHei in his little box that was just pretty much a KFC box with no lining and the way he was sliding around inside the box all the way home, no matter how gently I drove. I come to a stop and I hear SSSSSLIDE to the front of the box punctuated with a *BIP*. Take off from the stop SSSSSSLIDE to the back until *BIP*. Go around a corner and SSSSSSSLIDE to the side and *BIP* and I just had the image of that chicken on that boat just sliding around that little compartment. And look at those BIG OL' EYES!
HeiHei is... unusual as far as budgies go. He's very tame. He ran away from me only a couple times when I let him out and he settled in. He sat willingly on my hand for over an hour. I put him in his temporary cage long enough to shower and then got him back out. He fell asleep while I stroked his wing and when I petted his little head he yawned and settled in. Like he was hand raised before. He also is afraid of the dark, he does NOT like his cage being covered which makes sense because he has probably never been inside a cage before. A lot of these little guys, especially pet store birds, are born and raised in tanks.
So here we have my newest little bird. Stewie needs a feathered friend anyway.
I have had every color budgie you can shake a stick at. Stewie and several others in the past have been gray. I have had a few blew ones and a few yellow ones. HeiHei is blue on the front but gray on the back.
