Once a dream home

An old home that stands in a field I pass by when I'm driving to a friend's place.
Every time I drive by this place I have to wonder about the people who once lived there. What life was like. What they were like and what they did. I wonder when and why it was vacated for the last time. If there re any old ghosts still there. You know that at some point the owners set foot inside for the first time realizing it was their new home. They ate meals in there. Celebrated holidays there. Had children and died there. There was laughter and sadness and anger. 
And no, I'm not gonna tresspass and go in there. If I ever see the owners of the property I might ask if I can get a closer look but I'm a pretty big dewd and even if I was allowed IN the house I don't wanna risk the floors not holding up.
