Tearing it's heart out

Been installing a new camshaft on my Camaro. I'll lose a few horses but gain some torque. It's a good thing I went through to do this. (Lord knows I've been sitting on the parts long enough.) 
The rocker arms had been rubbing on the valve covers, and that's bad. So I can fix that now. Also while the wear patterns on the lobes look okay one of the lobes looks almost like there were chips off the edges. So that will automatically be replaced.
I am taking out the Comp Cams 292 H cam, which is really too big for such a small engine and especially at this altitude. 
What is in it now is a Comp Cams 262/270 split duration cam, so it's a bit smaller, and Rhodes Vmax lifters. I'm putting VTEC in my MUSCLE CAR! Well... not really. But it is sort of variable valve duration. 
I still have to adjust all the lifters which is probably going to take an hour on it's own. Then there's the whole reassembly thing which... I'm not a swift worker.
